In the last 50 years our diets have changed drastically. Modern farming methods and global food transportation has resulted in a general drop in the nutritional quality and purity of our food. Records show that some fruits and vegetables have 50-90% less nutritional value than those of the 1940’s. This is reflected in our fertility - sperm counts have dropped 50% over the last 40 years and female hormone imbalance is becoming increasingly common.
Vitamins, minerals, proteins and good fats are all vital for healthy fertility and specific nutrients. Nutritional therapy uses specific nutrients and herbs to help address infertility issues. For example vitamin C has been found to reduce sperm agglutination, a condition where sperm clump together.

Our Fertility Programmes include a course of nutritional therapy designed to identify any nutritional factors behind any physical imbalances.
Our nutritional therapist will assess your health history, dietary patterns and lifestyle alongside screening and assessing these 7 key areas of physical health. You will then be provided with a detailed dietary and lifestyle plan to help you make any changes needed to overcome the imbalances and deficiencies identified. You will also be recommended a specific vitamin, mineral and herbal supplement programme.
You also have the benefit of email and phone support, with our nutritional therapist throughout your programme.
Our nutritional therapist may suggest some investigative tests to help identify any physical imbalances relevant for you and your partner. These will be discussed with you in your first nutritional therapy session and will only be recommended if entirely necessary.
